Identify the Circuit: Choose the MCB in the distribution box that will supply the outlet. For standard outlets, a single-pole MCB is used; for high-power appliances, a double-pole MCB may be required .
Run the Cable: Route the NM cable from the distribution box to the outlet location. Ensure the cable is secured and protected from damage .
Connect at the Distribution Box:
- Connect the phase (live) wire to the output terminal of the selected MCB.
- Connect the neutral wire to the neutral bus bar.
- Connect the ground wire to the grounding bus bar .
Connect at the Outlet:
- Attach the phase wire to the brass screw (narrow slot).
- Attach the neutral wire to the silver screw (wide slot).
