Huawei optical module SN and ESN

The ESN (Electronic Serial Number) of Huawei optical modules can be queried using the display esn interface command on Huawei devices.

This command works in any view and will display the ESN along with other module details such as vendor name, product number, serial number, manufacturing date, and certification status . For example:

• VendorName: Manufacturer of the optical module. "Huawei" indicates a custom-made module.

• Certified: Indicates whether the module is certified by Huawei. "YES" means custom-made and certified, "NO" means not custom-made, and "NA" indicates older modules not involved in customization .

• You can also use display interface or display interface brief to view general interface and transceiver information, including link status, module type, and traffic statistics .
